Voodoo Art and Music Experience 2012

This past weekend at Voodoo Festival was a huge success. Each morning, I did live painting of the City Park oaks for an exclusive group of VIP LOA campers staying on the grounds in a plush campsite. Each painting was completely different than the day before--this probably had to do with the drastic changes in the weather more than  anything!

"Explosive" sculpture work for movie industry

So excited to be working on my first film! I am creating a series of paintings and large scale sculptures for the feature film Aztec Warrior, due for release next year. It's a comedy about a Mexican lucha libre (a wrestling hero) and his quest to get his Aztec god-given powers back. I went on set two days ago to deliver a sculpture, and I saw a 6 ft tall painting I did hanging on the wall, right behind actor Luis Guzman. What a neat feeling.
I can't share any details of the film, but I'll just say this--look for my work in the finale scene especially.
